Banking & Accounts

Your learner opens the door on real banking: how checking, savings, and credit unions actually work, and how to choose where their money lives. Deliverable: their own account-comparison and banking plan.

Budgeting

Your learner builds a budget that survives contact with real life, using the 50/30/20 framework and realistic teen scenarios. Deliverable: a working personal budget they built themselves.

Credit & Debt

Your learner learns how credit scores are built - and what student loans and credit cards really cost over time. Deliverable: a personal credit action plan.

Saving & Investing

Your learner sees what compound interest can do over a lifetime and gets a plain-English start on 401(k)s, IRAs, and investing basics. Deliverable: their own saving and investing plan.

Earning & Taxes

Your learner decodes their first paychecks: W-2 vs. 1099, and the Florida tax realities that come with earning money. Deliverable: an earnings-and-taxes roadmap for their first job.

Insurance & Risk

Your learner understands the protection they'll be expected to carry as an adult: auto, health, and renters insurance - including Florida's hurricane and flood realities. Deliverable: a personal risk-and-protection plan.

Consumer Skills

Your learner learns the big-money decisions: buying a car, renting an apartment, and spotting the scams built to catch first-timers. Deliverable: a real purchase or rental analysis they complete themselves.

Financial Goal Setting

Your learner pulls it all together into a personal financial plan they build and present - the capstone that proves the lab worked. Deliverable: a complete personal financial plan, presented.

Choice Navigator Support

$67 per hour of Navigator support, billed to the scholarship. Approved services are billed to your PEP scholarship and most families pay $0 out of pocket through the EMA marketplace. You will see the amount and approve it before anything is submitted, and what your scholarship covers is set by the scholarship program.

Delivered personally by Nicole Shinn.

Guidance through the educational options available to your learner. Through scheduled check-ins, we help you understand the options that address your learner's academic needs, how to apply for them, and how to enroll, along with curriculum selection and career and postsecondary direction.

Choice Navigator is a scholarship program lane administered by Step Up for Students. Clear:Path (Clear Path Framework LLC) is an independent provider, not affiliated with or endorsed by Step Up for Students. Navigator support is guidance only: a Choice Navigator may not oversee or exercise control over a student's curricula or academic programs. Navigator is not a school, does not provide full-time instruction, does not issue credits, diplomas or transcripts, and does not determine scholarship eligibility or award funds.
